We are partnering with a large, international organisation operating within the leisure, entertainment and hospitality sector to recruit an experienced Interim Group Reporting Financial Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex, multinational business during a key reporting period, supporting the Group Finance function with external reporting and statutory requirements.
This role will suit a technically strong finance professional who thrives in a fast paced corporate environment and has significant experience of group reporting, financial consolidations and working within large, complex organisations.
Interim Assignment - minimum 3 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reports.
- Lead and support the group consolidation process across multiple entities.
- Ensure financial reporting is compliant with both IFRS and US GAAP requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and external reporting deliverables.
- Support the year-end and interim reporting processes.
- Liaise with finance teams across the wider group to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Work closely with external auditors, providing supporting information where required.
- Review and improve reporting processes and controls where appropriate.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and reporting matters.
About You
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA preferred, although ACCA or equivalent will also be considered).
- Strong experience within Group Reporting, Financial Reporting or Technical Accounting.
- Proven experience of group consolidations within a large, complex, multi-entity organisation.
- Excellent working knowledge of both IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
- Previous experience within a listed or multinational business is highly desirable.
- Big Four or Top 10 accountancy practice background would be advantageous.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with large volumes of financial data.
