Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary Payroll Specialist to assist them for 9 months. You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations for the Northern Hemisphere, ensuring accuracy, compliance, timely processing, reporting, and payroll accounting.
- Partner with third-party providers and internal teams to maintain data integrity, resolve queries, and drive payroll process improvements.
- Oversee monthly payroll journals, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis to meet financial reporting deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with payroll taxes, statutory filings, and all payroll-related regulatory requirements.
- Act as a key payroll contact, providing support to leadership, employees, and the wider finance team while ensuring global payroll consistency.
- Bank reconciliations, journals, accountancy preparation.
The successful, temporary Payroll Specialist will have experience with UK in-house payroll processing and be an independent worker. You must be available immediately or have 1 week's notice to be considered for this role.
