We are delighted to be supporting a charity in the search for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This opportunity has arisen to provide cover for a team member who has been seconded into another area of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified accountant who combines strong technical finance skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the business. The successful candidate will be confident working with a range of stakeholders, providing financial insight, support and challenge to help drive informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted finance partner to budget holders and senior stakeholders across the organisation
- Provide high-quality financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting support
- Help stakeholders understand financial performance and make informed decisions
- Support month-end processes and ensure accurate financial information is delivered in a timely manner
- Contribute to budgeting and reforecasting cycles
- Offer financial guidance and challenge to support operational and strategic objectives
- Assist with continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting
About you:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar commercially focused finance role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a remote environment
- Proactive, organised and able to manage priorities effectively
- Experience using Exchequer would be an advantage
