About the Role
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, non-verbal communication needs, and extreme behaviour. The successful candidate will help pupils access learning in a safe, structured, and positive environment. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support learning, emotional regulation, communication, and social development. You must remain calm during challenging situations, maintain clear boundaries, and use positive reinforcement. The role requires a proactive and vigilant individual who can respond quickly to dysregulation and follow safeguarding procedures.
