An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join one of our growing clients, an established and successful business based in Horsham. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, this is a varied and creative role offering exposure across digital marketing, social media, content creation, email campaigns, events and wider brand communications. The position would suit an enthusiastic and proactive individual who enjoys creating engaging content and is looking to develop a broad marketing career within a supportive, hands-on environment.

The Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Confidence using social media and digital platforms
- Interest in content creation, photography, videography and storytelling
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Previous marketing experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar design and editing software would be advantageous
- Understanding of SEO and website content management would be beneficial
- Experience with email marketing or CRM/database systems would be advantageous
The Role
- Support the planning, implementation and monitoring of marketing campaigns
- Plan, create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms
- Create written, photographic and video content for digital channels
- Support the management and updating of website content
- Apply SEO best practices to online content
- Create and coordinate digital and printed marketing materials
- Support email marketing campaigns and customer communications
- Maintain and update customer databases and CRM information
- Work closely with internal teams to identify new content and marketing opportunities
- Assist with the planning and delivery of events, promotions and community initiatives
- Produce marketing materials and assets to support events and campaigns
- Support wider brand and promotional campaigns
- Monitor marketing activity and analyse campaign performance
- Produce reports on key marketing metrics and trends
- Help develop and maintain a library of photography, video and other marketing content
- Keep up to date with social media, digital marketing and AI developments
- Provide general administrative and project support to the wider marketing function
- Occasionally support events outside of standard office hours where required
