We are currently recruiting for Metal Dressers to join a busy manufacturing site in Billingham. This role offers an immediate start and ongoing work for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Dressing and finishing metal components to required standards
- Grinding, fettling, and smoothing castings
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Inspecting work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in metal dressing, fettling, or similar role
- Experience working in a heavy engineering or foundry environment (desirable)
- Ability to work rotating days and nights
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and able to start immediately
