Area: Office is based in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. You will cover the South Wales Police areas across the region.

About You
- An IDVA qualification (or equivalent standard) OR demonstrable experience working directly within the domestic abuse/VAWDASV sector.
- A solid, empathetic understanding of the distinct challenges faced by survivors of domestic abuse.
- A strong feminist perspective on violence against women and girls (VAWG).
- Proven experience in providing both emotional and practical trauma-informed support.
- Excellent caseload management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A good working knowledge of housing, criminal, civil, and welfare rights as they intersect with domestic abuse.
- Strong crisis-management capabilities and the resilience to handle complex, high-risk situations.
- An appreciation for accurate, timely case notes and robust record-keeping.

Please note: For candidates who hold a fully certified IDVA qualification and possess at least one year of direct experience in an IDVA role, salary offers will be weighted towards the top of the scale.
