Broadacres Housing Association is seeking a skilled Gas Service Engineer to join our Property Services team. You'll be responsible for carrying out gas safety checks, servicing gas appliances and heating systems, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team delivering essential services to our customers and helping maintain safe, comfortable homes across our communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct annual gas safety checks in residential properties
- Service and maintain gas heating systems and appliances
- Identify and resolve gas-related faults and issues
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relationships
About You
- Gas Safe registered
- Previous experience working as a Gas Service Engineer
- Strong knowledge of gas appliances and heating systems
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer-focused, professional and reliable approach
- Full UK driving licence
Essential Requirements
- Valid Gas Safe registration
- Proven experience in gas servicing and maintenance
- Knowledge of relevant gas safety legislation and regulations
- Ability to accurately complete records and documentation
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience working within social housing or a housing association environment
- Relevant gas qualifications and accreditations
- Experience delivering customer-focused maintenance services
