We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Broadacres Housing Association. The successful candidate will be working in a women's refuge, providing crucial support and assistance to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse. An understanding of Domestic Abuse Issues will be key to the success of this role and creating positive outcomes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing emotional support and practical assistance to women who have experienced domestic abuse
- Conducting risk assessments and safety planning with customers
- Signposting customers to relevant support services and agencies
- Advocating on behalf of customers to ensure their needs are met
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of customer interactions
- Collaborating with colleagues and external agencies to provide holistic support to clients
Requirements
