Working pattern: Hybrid - Typically 2 days per week across the portfolio, with regular on-site presence

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Financial Services Manager will lead the essential financial operations, systems, procurement and insurance services that support Broadacres every day. With responsibility for accounts payable, cashbook and banking, payroll, finance systems, insurance and procurement, you will ensure these services are accurate, compliant, responsive and trusted. This is an opportunity to modernise processes, strengthen integration and automation, and make it easier for colleagues to work effectively. Your leadership will help protect the housing portfolio, improve control and customer service, and support managers to deliver compliant procurement, strong value for money and wider social value.

KEY PRIORITIES

  • Lead accurate, well-controlled cashbook, banking, payment and accounts payable services.
  • Deliver an accurate and compliant payroll and pension administration service in partnership with the People Team.
  • Own and develop core finance systems, strengthening user controls, integration, documentation, upgrades and automation.
  • Maintain appropriate, cost-effective insurance cover and manage renewals, claims and broker relationships.
  • Develop procurement policy, guidance, tendering support and contract oversight, while building manager capability.
  • Embed strong controls, excellent internal customer service and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Financial Services team.
