We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our Empty Homes Team. Come and be part of a passionate team that take real pride in producing homes where our customers can put down roots. This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be moving between properties, carrying out everything from heavy duty builders cleans to the final sparkle clean that gives our customers a house to put down roots.

What you'll be doing:

  • A typical day might include working in an empty property that's just had repair or refurbishment work completed. There's often dust, debris, and leftover materials to deal with, so you'll roll up your sleeves and get stuck into a full builders clean clearing waste, putting a bit of elbow grease into those tough areas where there may be residue from previous works, and giving the whole property a thorough top to bottom clean.
  • You'll also be working alongside multi-skilled colleagues to assist with work such as filling, painting patches, external works such as gutter cleaning and garden works.
  • Some jobs will call for a bit more physical effort too, whether that's shifting materials, removing bulky items left behind, supporting with heavy lift and installing loft insulation.
  • A key part of the role is getting those homes ready for handover. This is where the sparkle clean comes in, adding those finishing touches that make all the difference. You'll be polishing fittings, cleaning internal windows, and making sure every room looks fresh, clean, and welcoming. It's about attention to detail and taking pride in leaving a home in the best possible condition.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience of working with the general public.
  • Team player and able to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver great results.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to self-motivate by showing commitment, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Able to follow/identify maintenance and improvement works, from work instructions and technical drawings and plans.
  • Able to climb ladders, work at height and physically undertake the duties.
  • Ability and confidence to drive a works vehicle.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: Alongside a generous annual leave package and flexible working options.
  • Extra Perks: Celebrate your birthday with an extra day off, plus increased leave for long service. Option to purchase additional annual leave.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Additional perks to support your wellbeing, including our Employee Assistance Programme service.
