About you
At Broadacres we are proud of our standards when it comes to refurbishing our home for our customers and we are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Multiskilled Joiner to be part of a team that deliver high-quality refurbishments across our housing stock. You’ll work alongside colleagues of different trades to ensure all properties meet the Broadacres Empty Homes Standard.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out joinery based repairs within our Empty Homes ensuring that the work is completed to the highest quality and to relevant technical standards
- Undertake repairs across a variety of trades including plumbing, tiling, plastering, flooring and painting/decorating trades
- Ensuring all works comply with health & safety legislation, internal policies, and industry best practices
- Focus on providing an excellent customer experience by with high quality work to deliver a home our customers can be proud of
- Proactively support line managers and, trade colleagues, the Technical Team and other departments in achieving targets and standards

What we’re looking for
To be great in this role, you’ll need to be an experienced and skilled joiner who combines technical knowledge with strong problem solving and team working capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience across a variety of trades in a repairs or maintenance setting in the housing sector.
- Significant experience of working within the housing repair/ maintenance sector in a joinery biased role
- Able to analyse problems, assess solutions and reach sound decisions
- Team player and able to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver great results
- A thorough knowledge of the skills, tools, and safety procedures required to carry out the role
- Skills to be able to undertake maintenance and refurbishment work across a number of different trades
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent and/or minimum of NVQ Level 3 or its equivalent
- You’ll excel in this role if you have experience as a Joiner, Multiskilled Joiner, Carpenter Multi Trade , Repairs and Maintenance , Joiner Mutli Trade
