Join our team of dedicated Montessori educators. We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Montessori Toddler Lead Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the developmental needs of children aged 18 months to 3 years and be committed to creating a prepared environment that supports independence, exploration, and joyful learning.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a prepared Montessori environment for toddlers
- Guide children through practical life activities and daily routines with patience and respect
- Observe and document each child’s development and progress
- Foster independence, self-care skills, and social-emotional development
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s growth and experiences
- Collaborate with assistant guides and support staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings
Required Qualifications
- AMI or AMS Montessori Toddler certification (or in process of obtaining)
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a Montessori setting
- Strong understanding of toddler development and Montessori philosophy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, warmth, and genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
