Maternity Action are looking for a volunteer to support their ‘Vulnerable Migrant Women’s Project’. Maternity Action is a national charity working to challenge inequality and promote the wellbeing of pregnant women, new mothers and their families.

They are seeking a volunteer to promote their guidance for commissioning health services for vulnerable migrant women, and to support evaluation of their training course for midwives on improving care for refugee and asylum seeking women.

The post will involve liaison with Primary Care Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups and Local Authorities; liaison with refugee and migrant organisations and networks; distribution of electronic and hard copy resources; and data entry and analysis.

The role will be part of their small team based in Old Street, London. The post is for two days a week for three months. Travel and expenses are reimbursed.
