Overview
Policy and Research Officer, £27,984 per annum. Full Time, Fixed-term contract to July/August 2014
This is a new and exciting role with the aim of improving and expanding the longer-term ability of Green Party Policy to develop ideas and polices that resonate with a wider external audience, requiring a high degree of initiative, individual responsibility and flexibility. The Policy and Research Officer will work with the Party’s Political Committee, Leader, MP’s office and the wider policy community to develop a forward-looking research programme.
Responsibilities
- The main aims will be to develop existing Green party policies and ensure that we are exploring new policies that respond to, and help shape, current political and popular thinking.
- The post will include providing policy support for the Green Party Leader and the MP’s office, as well as developing the Party’s capacity for rapid response to issues where there is little or no previous policy.
