Use your experience in community and events fundraising to enhance supporter engagement and develop relationships with community-based organisations, youth groups, and individual fundraisers. ActionAid is committed to building a fair and just world where everyone can claim their rights. We work with local communities in over 45 countries to fight hunger and disease, advocate for women's education and justice, hold corporations and governments accountable, and assist communities in emergencies.

Fundraising events are a key method for engaging with our supporters—join us in this six-month role to utilise your event expertise across the organisation. You will support individual fundraisers and supporter groups in achieving their annual fundraising targets, oversee the delivery of key fundraising activities, including running and active events, and build relationships with groups, companies, organisations, and individuals to maximise their fundraising success. Providing an engaging supporter experience will help grow their long-term support.

Essential experience includes planning and delivering community fundraising events and activities, recruiting and motivating supporters, and managing activities within time and budget constraints. Excellent communication and presentation skills and experience in developing marketing and communication plans are also required.
