Position Overview
A vacancy for the new post of National Coordinator of Compass has become available. Working directly to the Compass Chair in our small but vibrant central London office, the National Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the ongoing success of the organisation. The National Coordinator will co‑ordinate the smooth running of the national office and be responsible for implementing Compass internal democracy, organising and putting together all Compass regional and national events as well as building and retaining the membership. They will also work closely with the Treasurer to help manage the organisation’s finances. The National Coordinator will assist in setting the political direction and positioning of Compass and, when appropriate, act as a spokesperson for Compass in the media and at external events. Over time we hope that the National Coordinator will also take the lead on Compass campaigns.
