Temporary vacancy: Administrator – Membership Department (six months)
The Membership Department is responsible for the delivery of high-quality membership services to the union’s members while providing accurate information to RMT officials and activists. The role of Administrator primarily involves administering membership records, responding to general membership enquiries, printing and distributing bulk mailings and providing a general telephone switchboard service.
The salary is £26,879 (inclusive of a London Allowance) for a 34-hour week. Employment includes numerous benefits including assistance with travel up to a 40-mile limit.

Working under the direction of the Personnel & Constitution Department the role provides assistance and cover for a variety of positions within the union, including the opening and closing of the building, post-room duties, membership administration and switchboard service.
The salary is £30,864 (inclusive of a London Allowance) plus a five per cent Roster Allowance for a 34-hour week. Employment includes numerous benefits including assistance with travel up to a 40-mile limit.
