Preconstruction Manager – Industrial | Midlands
We're currently working on a great opportunity for an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join a successful main contractor, working across a range of industrial construction projects.
This is a key role within the preconstruction team, taking tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, contract exchange and handover to the delivery team.
What they're looking for:
- Proven experience in preconstruction/tendering within construction
- Experience working on industrial projects
- Confident managing multiple tenders at different stages
- Strong understanding of construction programming and sequencing
- Experience with BoQs, quotations and commercial information
- Strong technical writing and proposal experience
- Confident dealing with clients and leading tender presentations
- Highly organised and comfortable working to tight deadlines
You’ll be responsible for developing tender strategies, identifying risks and opportunities, coordinating supply chain information and leading the submission process.
