About the Role:
Join the team at Rugby, the largest production site within the Britvic group, responsible for producing up to 50% of the company’s volume. This state‑of‑the‑art facility operates multiple production lines for Can, PET, and Aseptic products across Juices, Carbonates, and Sports Drinks categories, including major brands such as Pepsi, 7UP, Tango, Robinsons, Lipton Iced Tea, and Fruit Shoot.
As a Raw Materials FLT Operator, you will be an integral part of our highly flexible and multi‑skilled team, delivering an effective Raw Materials operation that meets or exceeds performance targets. You’ll contribute to maintaining exceptional Safety and Quality standards while effectively controlling all raw materials within the department and operating specialized equipment for material delivery.
Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain strict adherence to all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards while following site policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Control and handle all materials according to Quality (Food Safety) standards, completing required quality checks and accurately reporting results.
- Operate various Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) to load/unload vehicles, manage inventory movements, and support production operations.
- Effectively use SAP and RF scanning systems to control product inventory with precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate with production teams to deliver against plan, ensuring efficiency and performance targets are consistently achieved.
- Manage waste material segregation and recycling according to site standards, supporting our environmental commitments.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to zero loss and 5 principles.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Recognised RTITB forklift qualification or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience with SAP operations and warehousing procedures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated flexibility to work across multiple production areas and adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to excellence with a clear desire to achieve success and contribute to company goals.
- Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
- Positive attitude toward personal development and supporting the growth of colleagues.
