Overview

As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead the Carlsberg Excellence programme to embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business.

You will drive operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance, while coaching leaders in lean methodologies.

You will manage focused improvement projects and establish clear KPI visibility to guide action.

Collaborating with senior stakeholders, you will translate strategy into practical improvement plans and promote standardisation and best practices.

This is a pivotal role within a newly formed, iconic brand portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the Carlsberg Excellence programme to embed continuous improvement across the business
  • Champion initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance
  • Coach, train, and mentor leaders and teams on CI tools, lean methodologies, and problem solving
  • Lead focused improvement projects to eliminate waste and deliver measurable results
  • Develop and sustain performance management systems with clear KPIs and priorities
  • Facilitate workshops, Gemba activities, and improvement events to build capability and engagement
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business strategy into practical improvement plans
  • Promote benchmarking and standardisation to improve consistency and performance
  • Support change programmes and transformation initiatives ensuring sustainable adoption
  • Act as a trusted CI leader driving accountability and long-term performance
  • Key requirements
  • Proven experience in driving CI through Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  • Strong track record of delivering sustainable operational improvements
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and end-to-end process understanding
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams to deliver change
  • Confident facilitator and presenter with capability-building skills
  • Adaptable leadership with a customer-focused, results-driven approach
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with data analysis and presentation capability
  • CI experience with demonstrable achievements is highly desirable
