About the Role
Join our dynamic Tax team as a Tax Manager supporting the Head of Direct Tax in ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This multi-disciplinary role offers diverse technical challenges and development opportunities within a strong, ambitious team operating in an exciting, evolving market. We're seeking a highly motivated self-starter to become a key member of our team, helping to manage tax risks, coordinate advice, and organize tax affairs efficiently.
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review GB & Ireland Corporation Tax computations and partnership returns with precision and technical accuracy
- Apply UK tax technical expertise, particularly in areas such as Corporate Interest Restrictions and derivatives taxation
- Manage tax accounting and reporting, including group reporting, FRS 101 entity tax disclosures, and tax reconciliations
- Oversee Senior Accounting Officer reporting and conduct in-year testing across various tax areas
- Partner with business stakeholders to explain complex tax issues and implement practical tax solutions
- Contribute to specialized tax areas such as R&D tax credits, Capital Allowances, and Transfer Pricing
- Support tax compliance and reporting obligations across all relevant jurisdictions
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Qualified professional with ACA/ACCA and/or CTA credentials, with 1-3 years post-qualification experience in industry or professional services
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to both internal and external deadlines
- Strong communication abilities to effectively promote the tax function internally and maintain productive relationships with external advisors, tax authorities, and auditors
- In-depth UK tax technical knowledge, with understanding of Irish tax beneficial but not essential
- Demonstrated experience in tax accounting and reporting under IFRS and local GAAP
- Self-motivated problem-solver who can work autonomously while contributing positively to team culture
