For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy. With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 15 logistics depots servicing customers up and down the UK. As a Commercialisation Programme Manager, you will be at the epicentre of delivering great innovation and activation programmes at Carlsberg Britvic. You will work closely with the GB Marketing team to lead, coach, govern and enable on time in full delivery of programmes across our portfolio of brands, delivering market beating performance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own the development and ongoing management of the strategic 5-year innovation funnel, partnering with Brand Directors, Insights, Brand Teams and Technical Teams to deliver one version of the truth to underpin Brand Codes for Growth.
  • Support the accountable MT (Management Team) member in orchestrating the Integrated Commercial Planning and 3 Year Plan through strong project management of the cross-functional inputs.
  • Ensure the effective development and execution of the AOP through strong planning and orchestration across all departments to enable timely and brilliant in-market execution.
  • Provide a strong link into Supply Chain to ensure that our brand innovation and activation plans are supported with the right capability and capacity.
  • Ensure that CAPEX investment requirements are understood and managed in a timely fashion to enable us to execute in-market connecting Supply Chain planning to the strategic innovation funnel.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional delivery of the total funnel ensuring all departments work effectively together to deliver brilliantly at pace.
  • Ensure Master Data, Specification, Procurement Costing and Finance Costing teams are aligned behind delivery of the funnel.
  • Ensure our data and systems enable the efficient and effective delivery of our marketing funnel.
  • Own the IPM system for Carlsberg Britvic, leading the conversation with Group to ensure it continues to evolve to our changing needs.
  • Manage the Innovation and Activity Board, providing thought leadership and insight into the total GB pipeline including launch timing trade-offs (Time, Cost, Quality), financial hurdles, and On Time in Full delivery to meet sell timelines.
  • Communicate strongly and effectively on total value delivery and execution performance of the funnel and inform key business milestones (such as Spring and Autumn Reviews).
  • Drive discipline across cross-functional teams to enable better commercial activation.
  • Drive scale and simplicity through the Innovation pipeline.
  • Inform and drive timely decision making with stakeholders and Gate Keepers.
  • Elevate visibility, governance and cross functional alignment of the activation calendar to achieve optimal market execution.
  • Successful delivery of pack change requirements for Beer brands (innovation & product change led) ensuring best in class execution, within agreed SLA’s and effective management of the associated Non-working A&P budget.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
  • Build marketing capability through mentoring and coaching teams in core processes (Stage / Gate, Business Case Development / Concept/Project Mgt).
