About the Role
Join Carlsberg Britvic as a Business Manager and become part of our integrated beverage powerhouse in the UK market. This exciting and fast-paced role offers ambitious professionals the opportunity to showcase their account development skills while leveraging our portfolio of leading beer and soft drink brands to drive exceptional growth. You’ll be responsible for managing and growing the indirect channel with ambitious distribution targets, working closely with marketing and brand teams to create impactful executions that achieve our overall business objectives. This fast-paced position combines commercial acumen with creative thinking to transform our distribution footprint and achieve ambitious growth targets across the vibrant coastal territories of Bournemouth and Brighton.
Role Responsibilities
- Transform distribution, volume, and market share across all customers through effective execution of contractual terms and a challenger mindset approach to driving compliance
- Manage customer P&L and portfolio performance, including accurate reporting, forecasting, and ROI analysis of promotional activities and investments
- Lead strategic thinking to identify, resource, win, and convert new business opportunities within the indirect channel
- Develop and optimize route-to-market account management relationships to unlock further distribution with existing customers and capitalize on white space opportunities
- Build and evolve a comprehensive commercial contact strategy across the annual plan cycle, expanding the breadth, depth, and seniority of customer relationships
- Champion a coaching, learning, and development culture within the team while continuously improving efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure robust activity processes through quality and timely business case submissions
Experience and Key Attributes
- Proven experience in the beverage or food industry with practical knowledge of category management and first-hand experience managing customer relationships
- Strong commercial skills across multiple channels/companies with demonstrable capability in applying category management thinking
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong storytelling and facilitation abilities to simplify complex concepts and engage stakeholders
- Creative, analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex channel dynamics and provide clarity on winning strategies
- Passionate about the hospitality channel with a commitment to being a brand ambassador who speaks knowledgeably about our portfolio
- Self-motivated professional who can work autonomously, make sound business decisions, and take personal accountability for shared and individual goals
