About the Role

Looking for an industrial placement that goes beyond observation and gives you the opportunity to make a genuine contribution?

Our Commercial Industrial Placement offers the chance to gain hands-on experience within one of our major customer teams, working alongside experienced commercial professionals and some of the UK's biggest retailers, hospitality operators and wholesalers.

With opportunities available across both our On Trade and Off Trade businesses, you'll gain valuable insight into how iconic brands are sold, marketed and grown in a highly competitive FMCG environment.

• Depending on your placement, you could support customers across hospitality, leisure and entertainment venues or work with leading grocery, convenience and wholesale retailers.




• You'll work closely with Account Managers and Commercial teams to help deliver customer plans, analyse performance, identify opportunities and support commercial decision-making.




• From day one, you'll be trusted with meaningful responsibilities and given exposure to real business challenges.




• You'll gain first-hand experience of how customer relationships are managed, how commercial plans are developed and how cross-functional teams work together to drive growth.




• Throughout the placement, you'll receive structured support, coaching and development while building the commercial judgement, confidence and stakeholder management skills expected of future Commercial Graduates.




• High-performing placement students may also be considered for a fast-track route into our Commercial Graduate Programme upon completion of their degree.

Experience and Key Attributes

We're looking for ambitious and motivated undergraduates who are excited by the opportunity to gain commercial experience within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline.




• Eligible to complete a 12-month industrial placement as part of your degree programme from July 2027.




• Must have the right to work full-time in the UK for the duration of the placement, as visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre in 4th February 2027. The process will include interviews, group exercises and presentations.

We are looking for students to join us on 26th July 2027 as part of their university placement year.
