Job Title: Cask Racking Operative

Location: Burton-On-Trent

Job Length: 18 Month FTC – Full Time

Working Hours: Rotating shift pattern of Mornings (6am-2pm) and Afternoons (2pm-10pm)

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK, home to iconic brands such as Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, Brooklyn, Hobgoblin, Wainwright, J2O, Robinsons, Tango, London Essence, and the licensed Pepsi portfolio including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea, and Rockstar Energy.

With 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depots across the UK, our goal is to ensure our people succeed. We are recruiting for a Cask Racking Operative, reporting to the Cask Racking Manager. This role is vital to our success and involves:

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Meeting production targets while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
  2. Gathering samples and conducting daily quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  3. Recording data to monitor production, utilities, and product quality, minimizing losses.
  4. Operating machinery and reporting mechanical issues promptly.
  5. Adhering to manual handling safety practices.
  6. Following our 5S culture to promote excellence.
  7. Identifying and reporting hazards to support a zero-accident environment.
  8. Using FLTs during production (training provided).

Experience & Attributes:

  1. Previous production experience is beneficial but not essential.
  2. Knowledge of production practices and safety standards (LOTO, 5S, JT10, PMS).
  3. Pride in work and teamwork.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
  5. Capacity to work independently or within a team.
  6. Motivation to improve work practices and learn new skills.
