An independent, award‑winning small animal practice in East Sussex is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its expanding team. Operating as an independent clinic, the team prioritises clinical freedom, strong client relationships, and a positive working culture. The practice is well‑equipped with modern facilities including digital radiography, dental x‑ray, ultrasound, and an in‑house laboratory.
The Role
The successful candidate will take a key role within a village‑based clinic, providing first‑opinion care to a variety of small animals. The role includes a balance of consultations and routine surgical procedures. This position is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon with 2+ years’ experience who is confident in general practice and values building long‑term relationships with clients. The practice offers flexibility with both full‑time and part‑time hours considered. There are no out‑of‑hours requirements, and overtime is paid if incurred. A structured rota includes limited evening clinics and a shared Saturday morning rota.
