An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well‑established 24‑hour small animal hospital in Rotherham.
This role is ideal for a veterinary professional with an interest in internal medicine, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, or neurology who is looking to develop their expertise within a supportive and well‑equipped environment.

The Practice
This purpose‑built 24‑hour hospital offers an extensive range of modern equipment and facilities, including:
- Full‑body CT scanner
- Digital radiography
- Ultrasound
- In‑house laboratory
- Three spacious consulting rooms
- Two dedicated operating theatres
- Large preparation area with excellent support facilities
- Dedicated learning and office spaces
The hospital provides a diverse caseload, making it an excellent environment for developing specialist interests and expanding professional skills.
- Role and responsibilities
- Full‑time position, 40 hours over four days per week.
- 1 in 6 full weekend rota.
- Varied medical and surgical caseload.
- Supportive and collaborative working environment.
- Provide exceptional patient care during consultations and surgical procedures.
- Develop tailored treatment plans and communicate effectively with clients.
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver the highest standards of veterinary care.
- Maintain regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
- Share knowledge and support the development of the wider veterinary team.
Qualifications
- Qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon.
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient and client care.
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
