An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to step into a leadership position within a modern, well‑equipped small animal practice in Greater London. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards, mentoring colleagues, supporting team development, and delivering outstanding patient and client care.

The Lead Veterinary Surgeon will work alongside an experienced and supportive team, contributing to the decision‑making of the practice and fostering a positive team culture. The practice benefits from close collaboration with a nearby 24‑hour veterinary hospital, providing access to advanced diagnostics and specialist expertise, including:

  • MRI and CT imaging
  • Endoscopy and arthroscopy
  • Advanced ultrasound
  • Multi‑parameter monitoring
  • Specialist‑led services in surgery, neurology, internal medicine, and more

Position Details:

This full‑time position offers a 40‑hour working week with a shared weekend rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays, or 1 in 6 full weekends at a nearby 24‑hour hospital. All out‑of‑hours care is managed by the hospital team, allowing the Lead Veterinary Surgeon to maintain a healthy work‑life balance.
