Seeking an experienced full-scope BC/BE Family Medicine/OB Physician to become Core Faculty of a Family Medicine Residency Program in southwest Virginia. The main focus of this position will primarily be the teaching of residents, but will also have responsibilities for teaching medical students and oversight of advanced practice providers.

Position Highlights

  • Ideal candidate must be Family Medicine board certified with training in full-scope family medicine including a desire to provide patient care in different settings.
  • Physician must have a strong commitment to graduate medical education.

This is a full-time position with the following required duties:

  • Resident supervision in the clinic and hospital.
  • Attendance at meetings.
  • Candidate interviews.
  • Curriculum development.
  • Research.
  • Direct patient care.
  • Clinical activities working with our residents.
