About the role

The faculty is looking to appoint an existing radiography lecturer or experienced clinician to join the academic team of an undergraduate diagnostic radiography degree. The appointed individual will be responsible for delivering an engaging, inclusive, and inspiring curriculum, including authentic assessment strategies, supported through classroom and practical skills teaching.

The post holder should have up-to-date knowledge of radiography education or practice and a student-focused approach. Applicants will need to hold current HCPC registration as a radiographer and be committed to maintaining this.

About you

The appointed candidate will have a strong professional background with extensive experience across all modalities of diagnostic radiography. The successful candidate will be keen to develop their own teaching practice and support students in learning and applying new knowledge. Formal teacher training in higher education is available if required.

The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively within the School of Healthcare and with the course lead. A mentor will provide support during the induction period.
