Security Officer – Gatehouse
Location: Aberdare
Pay: £13.36 per hour
Pay Frequency: Monthly
Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off / Days & Nights (Rotating)
About the Role
Join our team as a Gatehouse Security Officer based in Aberdare. You will be responsible for controlling access to site, monitoring security systems, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Controlling access to the site, visitors and vehicles
- Operating the gatehouse and monitoring CCTV systems
- Carrying out security checks and patrols when required
- Completing incident reports and daily logs
- Providing excellent customer service to staff and visitors
- Responding to alarms and security incidents in line with site procedures
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (Essential)
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, professional and punctual
- Right to work in the UK
- SIA Licence
- Driving Licence
