About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Caretaker / Handyman to work night shifts in a factory environment in Rochdale. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-run building and is comfortable working independently during night operations. There may also be opportunities to pick up extra hours by covering Supervisor or additional Caretaker shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Locking and unlocking areas within the factory.
- Emptying bins across the factory shop floor.
- Replenishing toilet rolls and hand towels.
- Painting, including floor painting and line markings.
- Sweeping and cleaning under machinery.
- Assisting with recycling and waste management.
- General maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Caretaker, Handyman, or similar role.
- Experience in a factory or industrial environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable with physical and manual tasks.
- Able to work night shifts on a rotating pattern.
