About the Role
Britsafe is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operatives to join our team at Newcastle Airport. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in offices, washrooms, and various airport areas, including airside locations.
Shift Options
Choose from the following shift schedules ( 15 hours per week Monday to Friday )
Monday to Friday
17:00 – 20:00 ( Some flexibility on start time earliest start time 4pm latest 6pm)
What You’ll Do

Clean and sanitise office spaces, washrooms, and public/common areas

Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and airport regulations

Perform duties both landside and airside

Follow cleaning schedules and supervisor instructions

Handle cleaning equipment and materials safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For

A current DBS check – If you don’t have one, we will apply on your behalf at no cost to you

Ability to provide a full 5-year work history (HMRC documentation preferred)

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Experience in cleaning roles preferred, but not essential

Eligibility to work in the UK and pass full airport vetting procedures
