Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off

Hours: 07:00 – 19:00 (12-hour shifts)

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Based on an average of 42 hours per week: Approx. £512.82 per week, Approx. £26,666 per year

The Role

We are recruiting a professional Daytime Security Officer to join our team working from a Gatehouse location in Liverpool (L24). This role involves controlling vehicle access and egress, managing visitors and contractors, and maintaining a secure and welcoming site environment. This is a front-facing position, so strong communication skills and professionalism are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control and monitor all vehicle access and egress
  • Verify visitor and contractor credentials
  • Log vehicle movements accurately using site systems
  • Issue passes and maintain visitor records
  • Conduct patrols if required
  • Respond to incidents and elevate where necessary
  • Maintain a professional and approachable presence
  • Liaise with site management and the Control Room

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence (Essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident dealing with visitors, contractors and staff
  • Good computer literacy (emails, reporting systems, access control systems)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rotation
  • Driving Licence due to location of site
