An awardâwinning, RCVSâaccredited veterinary hospital with over 50 years of experience is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join its thriving team. This is a rare chance to be part of a progressive, supportive practice that truly invests in its people â whether that's developing graduates into certificate holders or helping experienced vets step into leadership roles.
The role is based primarily at the main hospital with occasional work across nearby branches, offering a varied caseload and access to exceptional facilities. From CT imaging and a fully equipped dental suite to 12 operating theatres, the clinical environment is designed for vets to deliver outstanding care while continuing to develop their skills. The team includes 16 vets â seven of whom are certificate holders â plus six more currently studying in areas such as cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, surgery, and medicine.
With a dedicated night team on site, there's no need for outâofâhours work. Weekends are shared fairly (1:10 full weekends and 1:5 Saturdays) with time back in lieu. The last weekday appointment is at 6:30 pm, giving a healthy workâlife balance.
