Two vibrant clinics in North London are seeking a passionate veterinary surgeon to join their dynamic teams. This role offers a unique blend of professional growth, supportive colleagues, and a variety of cases to keep your days both challenging and rewarding.
This engaging position involves a 4-day work week, split between 2 North London practices (2 days each). Additionally, you will participate in a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:8 Sunday rotation in a high tech Hospital, with up to 2 bank holidays per year. Once settled, you will also be part of the on-call and twilight rotation at the hospital, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Your induction will include a hospital orientation day to familiarize you with the hospital environment before your first shift.
One of the clinics is a bustling first-opinion practice with a steady influx of new clients and a loyal existing clientele. The clinic boasts an exceptional support team, including a senior vet, senior nurse, and dedicated student and trainee nurses. You will overlap with a senior vet one day and handle sole charge on the other. In the other practice, you will collaborate closely with an experienced senior vet and a well-established nursing team, ensuring you have all the support needed to thrive. You will benefit from the guidance of a highly experienced regional manager and a regional head vet for any additional clinical support. Complex cases can be referred to the 24-hour hospital, which also provides invaluable out-of-hours care.
The practices are both conveniently situated near transport links and a bustling high street with numerous restaurants and bars. Both locations are a short drive from the serene Epping Forest, perfect for a countryside escape.
