Are you a skilled surgeon looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of companion animals? Look no further! Our client is a leading veterinary practice in Staffordshire, dedicated to providing exceptional care to pets in our local community for over three decades.
As a valued member of this team, you will have a varied and fulfilling role. Your week would typically consist of one day of surgery, one day of consultations, and two days that combine both. However, they understand the importance of tailoring your role to match your preferences. If you have a surgical bias or prefer consultations, our client is open to adjusting the frequency of surgery to accommodate your strengths.
You should feel confident handling all primary care duties. If you are comfortable with routine procedures and have a desire to learn more advanced techniques, you will be supported in expanding your skill set.
Both of these modern premises have been recently renovated and are accredited by the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme. They have also gained silver ISFM status. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the site boasts two theatres, digital x-ray, in-house blood machines, ultrasound, dental radiography, and all the necessary dental equipment.
What truly sets the practice apart is their exceptional team. They are a supportive and tightly-knit group, driven by their shared passion for upholding high standards of care. They enjoy working together and creating a positive, sociable atmosphere. Investing in their team’s professional development is a priority, and they actively encourage growth and specialization.
They take great pride in building strong relationships with their clients and being an integral part of the local community. Their commitment to case continuity ensures that pets receive consistent, personalised care. While their primary focus is small animals, they also lend a helping hand to wildlife and collaborate with local aquatic and reptile shops, occasionally encountering fascinating creatures like owls, hedgehogs, snakes, and even a baby dragon!
Located in delightful market towns, their practices offer the best of both worlds—easy access to Birmingham City or the tranquility of the surrounding countryside. Plus, with West Midlands Airport just an hour's drive away, travel opportunities abound!
