Imagine working in a multi-discipline hospital that operates 24/7, 365 days a year, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including CT and dental x-ray. You’ll be surrounded by a large team of 23 RVNs and 4 PCAs, including certificate holders and specialists, ensuring you have ample support and camaraderie. Your professional development is a priority here, with generous funding for CPD to help you reach your full potential.
Responsibilities- Provide high-standard nursing care across theatre, ward, nurse clinics, and dispensing/admitting/discharge shifts in a small animal hospital with a high exotic case load.
- Rotate through theatre, ward, nurse clinics, and dispensing/admitting/discharge shifts.
- Work a balanced 40-hour week across four 10-hour shifts between 07:30 and 19:30. Part-time applications are welcome.
- Cover 1 in 6 weekends with lieu time; no night shifts due to a dedicated nights team.
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with eligibility to work in the UK.
- Interest in nurse clinics is desirable; ability to work effectively in both ward and theatre settings.
- Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.
