Key duties and responsibilities
- Assist with surgeries and ensure the smooth running of surgery days
- Monitor anaesthetics and provide post-operative care
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to all patients
- Engage with clients to provide excellent customer service
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to achieve the best outcomes for pets
Skills and experience
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with good general nursing experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic
- Genuine interest in animal welfare
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) including 1 in 4 Saturdays with time off in lieu
- Flexibility to work shifts from 8.30 am – 4.30 pm or 11 am – 7 pm, with an option for 4 long days if preferred
In return, the role offers a competitive salary of up to £37,000 FTE, dependent on experience.
