Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a role where your skills and expertise are genuinely valued?

Imagine being part of a new, dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility in Lancashire, just 25 miles north west of Manchester. Starting in November 2026, this full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £38,000, depending on your experience. Join a practice that sees you not just as support staff, but as a clinical professional integral to its success.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to run nurse-led clinics, engage in client education, and influence the daily delivery of care. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the practice's culture and operational excellence.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform anaesthesia, monitoring, and surgical support, covering the full scope of RVN clinical practice.
  • Lead nurse clinics focusing on weight management, post-operative care, vaccinations, and parasite prevention.
  • Educate clients, particularly about the subscription membership model.
  • Manage stock, care for equipment, and oversee practice operations.
  • Mentor student nurses as the team expands.

Skills and experience:

  • RCVS-registered RVN.
  • At least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a first-opinion practice.
  • Clinical confidence and a genuine passion for nursing.
  • Excellent client communication skills—clear, warm, and reassuring.
  • Enthusiasm for being part of a new team and culture.

This role offers more than just a competitive salary.

  • CPD support with protected time
  • Paid VDS/RCVS fees
  • Chance to work in a team that takes nursing seriously
  • The subscription model fosters better client relationships and reduces transactional work, allowing for a more fulfilling professional experience.

You must be a qualified Veterinary Nurse and eligible to register with the RCVS to be considered for this role.
