Key duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor general anaesthetics
- Perform theatre work and lab work efficiently
- Take blood samples and provide exceptional care for pets
- Conduct nurse consultations and contribute to the overall well-being of the animals
- Coach and mentor other team members
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Nurse
- High competency in monitoring GA, theatre work, lab work, and taking bloods
- Strong ability to care for pets with compassion and expertise
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This full-time role offers a fantastic work-life balance, working 38.5 hours per week over four days. The schedule includes two days from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and two days from 8:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., with a day off during the week. Additionally, there is a 1 in 7 Saturday morning shift and no out-of-hours work required. The salary is up to Β£32,000, depending on experience.
