Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an enriching role in a supportive and progressive environment? My client, a well‑established and RCVS and Cat Friendly accredited practice, is seeking a skilled RVN to join their friendly team in historic Leicestershire.

You will be part of a dynamic team that includes seven Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, one Animal Care Assistant, ten Vets, and a large team of Receptionists. The practice has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, boasting state‑of‑the‑art equipment such as two theatres, digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, and separate cat and kennel wards.

As an RVN, your role will encompass all aspects of veterinary nursing, including theatre practice, ward nursing, nurse consults, laboratory work, and schedule 3 procedures. The practice encourages special interests and continuous professional development (CPD), with current nurses undertaking certificates in surgery, diagnostic imaging, and emergency and critical care.

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £27,700, depending on experience, and a balanced 37‑hour workweek based on a four‑day schedule. The Saturday morning rota is a maximum of 1 in 4, currently 1 in 7, depending on nurse numbers. Located in semi‑rural Leicestershire, just 20 minutes from the vibrant city, the practice offers the perfect blend of tranquil countryside and urban amenities.
