Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum DOE plus £1,500 sign on bonus

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40-hour week, including weekends and on-call rota

The Role

This predominantly clinical role (around 80%) focuses on delivering outstanding patient care. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will:

  • Provide direct line management to Nursing team members
  • Support effective patient management across the Hospital
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Nurses, fostering confidence and capability
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership and clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care

With new Specialists joining the team, you will gain exposure to a growing range of complex referral cases, supporting your continued clinical development and expanding your skillset.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least 3 years’ experience in a Referral Hospital
  • Experienced in leadership, whether formal or informal
  • Confident in working independently and making sound clinical decisions
  • Thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Passionate about mentoring others and growing a positive team culture
