A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing independent practice just a stone throw from the heart of Guildford, Surrey. Since opening in 2022, this modern and welcoming clinic has built a loyal client base and a reputation for exceptional, compassionate care. The practice provides its own out-of-hours service, ensuring patients receive seamless, trusted care from familiar faces — and offering vets the chance to see cases through from start to finish.
About the Role
This is a varied, hands‑on position where clinical freedom and professional development are encouraged. The successful candidate can join on either a full‑time or part‑time basis, with flexible scheduling to support a healthy work‑life balance. The rota includes participation in the 1:4 weekend rotation (Saturday 8:30am–4:30pm, Sunday 9:30am–12:30pm with on‑call cover) and one night on‑call per week. Bank Holidays are shared fairly across the team. You’ll be working alongside a friendly, close‑knit team of 3.5 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 VCAs, and 5 receptionists who share a strong sense of teamwork and pride in delivering high standards of care.

- Digital X‑ray
- Laparoscope and Endoscopes
- Ultrasound
- Multiparameter monitoring
- Dental suite
- Full in‑house laboratory
