Are you an RVN with a passion for patient care, looking for a fulfilling role that allows you the freedom to follow your passions in a nurturing and supportive environment? Then look no further!
Our clients are a family run, independent tier three referral hospital and they are looking for an enthusiastic registered veterinary nurse to join their team and help them continue to provide top tier care to the pets of Greater Manchester.
The referral hospital was established in 2008, as an addition to the original practice which has now been up and running for over 40 years. It is fully equipped with all that you would expect of an award winning referral hospital offering a vast number of services including but not limited to BOAS and TPLO surgery, MRI and CT scanning and neurology case referrals.
With a strong and experienced team of 9 vets, 12 nurses and 9 support staff, our clients understand the importance of employee wellbeing and actively encourage their team to carry out additional CPD and allow them to follow their passions and work in the areas they want to pursue or learn more about. This makes the role ideal for anyone looking to expand their knowledge over all areas or specialise in one specific area.
The role itself is full time, permanent working 38.6hours per week with no out of hours and 1 in 10 Saturdays, with the option to pick up additional early inpatient shifts if desired. They are also happy to consider part time for the right candidate so donโt be afraid to ask if you think you are the right fit for this role but cannot commit to full time!
Candidates should be confident working in a busy hospital environment, ideally with some experience working in a referral hospital, however this is not required. You should be friendly and engaging and able to work well as part of a larger team and passionate about always providing exceptional patient and client care.
You must be a qualified Veterinary Nurse and eligible to register with the RCVS to be considered for this role.
