Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team handling a large and complex caseload.
- Support first‑opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral services.
- Assist with diagnostic imaging including CT scanner and commercial laboratory.
- Collaborate with day and night teams in a 40‑hour week with alternating shifts (9am‑7pm or 12pm‑10pm), a Saturday 1:3 rotation, Sunday 1:6 rotation, and fair on‑call duties.
- Participate in surgical procedures including advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgeries.
Qualifications
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon and eligible to register with the RCVS.
- Either hold an internal medicine certificate or be working towards one.
- Alternatively, a strong general practice veterinarian with a keen interest in medicine and diagnostic imaging.
