We have the perfect opportunity for you.
Our client is a friendly practice based in the North East of Essex, near the Essex/Suffolk border and just a short train ride from London city centre. This is a full‑time permanent position split between clinical and administrative work. There are no out‑of‑hours shifts, as the practice works with an external OOH provider to care for in‑patients on site.
The role offers a varied small animal caseload and a mixture of consulting and operating, with every vet given a dedicated operating day each week, plus administration time. The practice has a flexible approach to the rota so it can work with you to find the best pattern and keep that work‑life balance right.
You will be joining a clinical team of seven vets and twelve nurses, with strengths in surgery, cardiology, ultrasonography and exotics. The practice is well established with excellent facilities including a surgical theatre, prep area, dental suite, x‑ray room, flexible endoscopes, digital tonometer, class 4 laser and echocardiograph, in addition to the usual essentials.
Free parking is available on site and bus stops are a few minutes' walk from the front door. The nearest train station is just under 30 minutes by drive or bus, providing a direct link into London city centre and Heathrow airport for travel further afield.
