As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will guide a dedicated team of vets, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care through effective coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Lead Nurse to support the daily operations of the clinic.
  • Evaluate clinic KPIs and P&L to ensure optimal performance and continued success of the hospital.
  • Conduct 1‑1 meetings and performance management sessions for staff.
  • Lead staff and clinical governance meetings.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skillset and passion for coaching and mentoring.
  • Exceptional communication skills with clients and the veterinary team.
  • VetGDP qualification preferred; candidates willing to obtain it are welcome.
  • Experience in 1‑1 meetings, performance management, and leading staff and clinical governance meetings.
  • Business acumen is a plus but not essential.
