About the Practice

The practice boasts a dynamic team of five vets, including specialists in medicine and feline medicine, and a vet currently pursuing a certificate in surgery. The clinical team is complemented by six Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and two Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs), many of whom have grown their careers within the practice. The team is further supported by a group of dedicated receptionists and the Business Manager. With strong ties to the local community, this close-knit team prioritises each other's well-being, with two members trained in mental health first aid.

The Role and You

This role is ideal for a versatile Veterinary Surgeon skilled in both consultations and routine surgeries. The practice is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, provided they have a background in small animal general practice. Working hours are flexible, with rotas designed around team preferences to ensure a healthy work/life balance. The weekend rota is minimal, requiring just one in six weekends, with Saturday hours from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday hours from 10:30 am to 4 pm. The practice also ensures structured days with 15-minute consultations, regular admin time, and monthly team meetings.
